#3 Find an Album Designer & order a Sample Wedding Album off of my 100 in 1000 goals
One of my goals for this year was to get a Sample wedding album made so that my future brides have something to hold, feel, flip through, smell & so on…. (well maybe I’m the only weirdo that likes to smell books! I go nutty for the smell of paper… when I walk into libraries or banks I’m in heaven! Very strange… I know!) Anywhoo I couldn’t be happier how the album came out! I was lucky to have worked with an awesome album designer who was so sweet & patient with me. We were able to come up with a clean simple style that I am proud to present!!! So without further ado here are some photos of my first Sample wedding Album of Gema & Jr's wedding! Hope you likey :)

Rambunctious. Full of life. High spirited. Joyful. Active.
This is how I’d describe these gorgeous brothers that I had the privilege to photograph! They had so much love and spunk towards each other! Im so glad that I was able to capture some of these moments! ... and did I mention how handsome they are!!! I thought that my petunia pickle bottom diaper bag would be a good enough camera bag for me, but after taking it to a few weddings I realized that its too big n bulky to hang on my arm all day. It actually adds more weight & discomfort! So I looked into the Shoot Sac bags and they are a pretty penny, then my friend told me about the next best thing which is called the Undfind bags for half the price!!! You know me, Im all about a great deal!!! It took me a little while to purchase it because I wanted to be absolutely sure that it was a necessity and Im sooooo glad that I finally bought it!!! Its perfect for me! Its light weight and has enough room for my few lenses. I don’t like to carry much on me on a shoot anyway, I leave all the extra gear in a backup bag.
So here it is… a few pics of my new Undfind bag! I know this is pretty sad… and im kinda embarrassed to admit it, but I haven’t washed my own car since before I was pregnant back in 2008! I had a HORRIBLE (emphasize on the HORRIBLE) pregnancy and I was vomiting for the first six months! So Jack just kinda took on the carwashing role and has been on it ever since! I remember loving to wash cars as a little girl! We would pull the cars into the backyard and bump the radio (yes I said Bump lol) and make a day of it! It’s not as private anymore since we live in condos and you’re out in the open for everyone to watch. So yesterday Jack left a note on my filthy truck that said “Don’t be afraid to wash me today!” Haha! Aww Man! So I took lil man out there with me & we tackled it together! It was actually fun, he was in charge of rinsing and I was washing. It’s crazy how big he is & that he’s actually able to help me now! Tear! Tear! He’s my future car washer in the making haha! Speaking of how time flies… I cant believe my sis n law already had her baby. It seems like she was only pregnant for a few short months! I hope that the baby stays small for a long time so we can enjoy this stage of her newborn life! I got a few photos of her little diva setup… Chels is sooo doggon creative! She decorated these cute block letters! Luv it!
Im sorry for abandoning my blog for a whole two n a half weeks! I know that I said that I was going to try to blog 3 times a week but I totally got off track with my new baby niece being born, jury duty, our poor Skippito Friskito dying on us and then leaving to Henderson to visit my sister & family! Before we get to my gorgeous niece, let me just tell you about Skippito… it was not my fault that Skippy died! His death is still unknown… I found him in the morning in his food dish so I’m thinking that he choked. Poor babycito!!! We told lil Jack that his parents came to pick him up because they missed him and they took him to go on an adventure. He was completely devastated! Ugh I even started crying because his little heart was broken. I don’t know why I thought saying that he went on an adventure would be easier than telling him that he died! So we decided no more little pets, we’re going to wait to get a dog! Yippee! Now on to a happy note… the beautiful Miss Ava Marie has blessed us with her presence! I don’t shoot newborns very often, and seriously after shooting this session Ive realized that newborn photography is a true art! I have no clue how they get these crazy cute poses! I just don’t have those skills but lil Ava was soo cooperative! She slept the whole time and not once peed on me!! Woo hoo!! So here she is only 10 days old… She smiled for me!!!
