When I first began photography back in 2011 I went crazy experimenting with editing styles! I added different presets on every other photo -you'd never think that they were all from photo session! A little Sepia here, black and white with a splash of color there, oh and you can't forget about those vintage presets! Oh Lawdy! It took me a year to get that out of my system and find my groove. At the end of the day the style that never got old to me was the fresh clean crisp look. Which I now refer to as my "Modern" style, it's bright with warm vibrant colors! That has been my go to look for the last 4 years, but lately Ive been having a wondering eye... ... for FILM!!!! Oh sweet film how I love thee and all that you do! You and your soft melts of pastel colors that goosh romance!!! So dreamy! Why do you have to be so doggone expensive! Man! I'd have to sell my first born child just to be able to buy a nice film camera and all of your pretty little rolls to just keep my business afloat until I built a clientele that would want to make that type of investment! Holy Cow you are too fancy! ... I digress! So low and behold I introduce to you the next best thing... the ever so glorious "digital" film!!! Awwwww!!!! I can say that I have come to like it just as much as I like the vibrant "modern" look! But I can't bring myself to completely transform, sooooo instead I thought "hey, why not give my wonderful clients the options of both and they can select the one that they like the most!?!" Ding! Ding! Ding! we have a winner!!!! This new editing style will be called "Timeless" because its extremely similar to that classic look of film that never goes out of style. And if you don't like either than go ahead and skedaddle lol!
If you visit my WEDDING Gallery page you can view the two different slideshows of the new style options. Below are a few examples of what you'll see...

I'M JANELLE MARINA
Wife, Mama Shark, + Photographer. Most days, you'll find me in mismatched socks and a top knot, working behind my computer with a smile on my face, listening to Zac Brown Band and R&B --or, dancing in the kitchen with my 3 littles and hunka husband, seeing who could come up with the coolest dance moves. I'm a wedding photographer, West Elm lover, aspiring advocate for our buddies with special needs, and a Certified Dreamer since 1986. We live in a cozy city in Southern California and are always up for a good adventure. I enjoy telling stories with my camera, grubbing on spicy food, and solving the latest Dateline case.
