Back in January, Jack and I had a trash the dress session with Ramiro Gaytan owner of San Dimas Photography. I blogged about it here! Well 4 months later I finally got around to printing out the cd and forgot that I had promised to show some of the crazy stuff that we did on the shoot. Well it was crazy to me! First here are some of my favs… Im so lovin the sunflare in this photo!!! He knows just what to say to make me bust up in my ugly teethy laugh!!! So here comes the adventurous photos… Ramiro had me climb up this hill in high heels and I had to lean forward without falling! My legs were cramping up! ... then he had us run in the middle of a busy street to get this shot. We have about 3 seconds to get this shot before all the cars came by. Ramiro’s assistant Larry (who is also my friend) ran into the water to help me get up on the post for this shot! The water was freezing!! And I guess it wasn’t enough that I was knee deep in the water because he asked me to get down & crawl under the pier to get these photos. Poor guy was trying to get me to give him a sexy look and that’s just impossible for me to do! I definitely lack that characteristic! Rawww!!! When I came out of the water my dress sucked to my body like a vacuum! The ride home was very uncomfortable!!! :)
On another note I will be taking my mom out shooting today to teach her how to use the camera! We will see how that goes... and maybe ill post some of her photos up on the blog :) Have a great weekend yall!! See ya monday!

After breaking open some piggy banks and wrapping our pennies, we were able to add a new member to my photography business… Mr. Mark the 2nd! I got the Canon Mark ii a little while ago and I LOVE it!!! Let me just say that I still love my canon t3i!! It has been so good to me! I will always keep it as a backup camera! If I could give some advice for those who are thinking about getting into the photography business invest in a good lens! Don’t waste your time buying the kits with the body and stock lenses like I did, because you will soon want to upgrade it! If I could do it all over again I would have bought the T3i body only and gone to the camera store to play with a few of the lenses until I found the right fit. Since I was on a smaller budget I would have bought the 50mm 1.8. This would have given me the lovely blurred background that I was going for. I realized that I was limited with the T3i when I was shooting in the bright sun at the widest aperture and because that camera’s ISO only goes up to 1/ 4,000 it was still too bright. That was something that was holding me since I love to shoot outdoors and I prefer to shoot at the largest aperture my lens allows! Other the higher ISO capabilities, that the Mark ii is also a full censored camera, which allows me to get more information in a photo. Below is an example… I took two shots of the same figurines at the same distance and the Mark ii gave me more room. It comes in handy when I’m in tighter spaces! We are definitely are not balling out of control, so this was a huge deal to us! I’m soooo grateful to my husband who generously made this business investment! He busts his booty to provide the best way he can for his family and I totally appreciate him! I am hoping that one day my business will be booming and I can return the favor by getting him his 1969 Roadrunner that he’s always wanted! Lol I know pretty farfetched!
Im so sorry for being M.I.A on the blog for a week n a half, I feel really bad for those of you readers that check up on me and haven’t had anything new to read or look at! But thank you for not giving up on me :) I promise to try to start posting a blog 3 times a week. So this is the wedding that I second shot with my friend Larry a few weeks ago up in Wrightwood. We went to a cute little chapel up in the SNOW! It was so cozy & quaint. Vilma and Bob met are one of the lucky couples that met their match on eHarmony . They were turned on to eHarmony from another couple that had met on that dating website and married. They meshed so well together, it was so cute! Her daughter was happy to help her mama get dressed! I caught a genuine hug between a mother & daughter! Vilma’s mother couldn’t look at her without smiling and shedding happy tears! To be honest I had the hardest time exposing for this one photo in the snow! I def. need to practice more in the snow! Feel free to share any tips :) Vilma's son announced the bride and groom to the party!! Vilma decided to hand out her bouquet to a couple that were already dating, instead of tossing it. The couple just so happened to be her daughter! A bouquet had been handed to Vilma & Bob when they were dating so they wanted to pass on the lucky tradition. Its so inspiring to see that you can find love at any age :) Thanks so much Larry for allowing me to second shoot for you! Your a great bud!
