This month has been so crazy that we almost forgot our wedding Anniversary! I'd love to share these exciting things with you but Im a believer of jinks, so I'd rather share the news with you after they've happend!
Our 2nd year wedding anniversary was yesterday and we didnt really plan anything because it landed in the middle of the week and lil Jack is in preK everyday now, so we know we were limited with what we could plan. So I was surprised when Jack asked me to find a babysitter so we can spend the day together! We ended up going to Laguna Beach, which was a first for him. In the first 5 minutes of our relaxing stroll on the beach I freakin step on something! It was stuck in my foot and instead of picking it off --I freaked out and started dragging my foot on the sand to scrape it off! I was too scared to see what it was! At that moment I realized what a chicken I am!!! Pathetic -I know! Of course I had Jack look at it cuz I couldn't bare the idea of seeing a sea creature stuck too the bottom of my foot! Very Dramatic but my mind runs wild with these ideas! Jack ended up pulling out a long spikey thing! I thought maybe a creature left his picker in my foot! Anyway the pain spread throughout my whole foot and I was limping on the sand for a while! I wanted to cry but I was trying to be a tough guy! The only thing that felt better was to keep moving it in the cold water! Was it a sting from a jelly fish? Does Jack have to pee on my foot to stop it from burning!?! (myth here) Will i have to get it amputated? Omg or even worse DIE!!! I thought I felt the pain spreading up into my leg! Never a dull moment :) Hahah! After what seemed like a lifetime... the pain started fading! Then Jack tells that he thinks I just stepped on a bee! What the heck! My life flashed before my eyes for a doggone Bee sting!!! I think he's wrong, but All I know is Huntington Beach never has bee problems! At the end of the day i SURVIVED! And we had a nice dinner by the beach and came home to our little boys and picked up right where we left off! :) happy Anniversary babe! Thanks for putting up with me! I love you and I enjoy growing old with you!

Ever since I did my sis n laws maternity boudoir shoot HERE, I was dying to try it again!!! I think it’s such a cool gift idea to give your honey --either for his birthday, your anniversary, or a cute little wedding day gift! I bet you he would be pleasantly surprised and hey he'd probably even blush! I think its so cute when grown men blush!
When shooting boudoir I find inspiration from Victoria Secret Catalogues. I have always been obsessed with Victoria secret, not the bras but the models! I think they are gorg, and their catalogues are always so sexy in a classy tasteful way! This is the look I want to portray in my photos! Cant wait to start shooting more boudoir shoots!!! Woo hoo get yo sexy on!!!! There's so much information that I want to share with my clients and instead of sending them a bunch of emails with different pdf's of info, which I did for my first year, I decided to make an online pamphlet. A Wedding Guide. It tells my clients all about my services, FAQ's , Timeline examples, and Helpful tips for planning their wedding day! I totally wish that I had something like this when I was planning my wedding! I hope this can make my clients life a little easier and make their planning process run a little smoother! :) This is what my old FAQ's looked like -- I would email this to my clients... I am so excited because I actually get to check off 3 goals from my list
7. Create a FAQ file for Wedding Clients 25. Update Helpful tips 77. Create a FAQs post that links to all the questions & answers IM ON A ROLLLLLL!!!! CANT STOP ME NOW! Unless your Baby Maxx and you need a diaper change or bottle! Lol! Here's a sneak preview of my new Wedding Guide :) I’ve been dying to share my first styled wedding photoshoot with you! Im sooo thankful for the awesome creative team that worked with me on this. Without them this Bohemian inspired shoot couldn’t have happened! Getting it published in the Wedding Chicks was a huge juicy cherry on top! My friend Katy, who is also an A-MAZ-ING photographer, and her friend Justin were awesome enough to make time to strike a pose for me! Im super grateful!!! The fabulous Claudia Davatolhagh (claudia_dee@yahoo.com),
who was also my hair stylist for my wedding, did an gorsoues job at turning the typical bohemian hairdo into a teased modern look! I would totally rock this hairdo at my wedding! Its reminds me of Beyonce! Don’t ask me why, it just does lol! She also did a gorgeous job at her makeup! She knew just the right shades to make her green eyes pop! Man I wish I had green eyes!!! It wouldn’t be a wedding without FLOWERS!!! Linda from Victoria Ivy Floral Design, who is also my talented Aunt, added her gorgeous floral accents! The soft pinks, corals, ivory added a romantic touch! She added those pretty peach feathers and hypericum berry stems to add a modern twist to the traditional bouquet! The flower crown with the pink spray roses, chrysanthemums and queen anne’s lace flowers really made Katy look like a Floral Goddess! I cant thank you ladies enough for making this vision come true!
