I met Alia through the fun Facebook group "Something Borrowed, Something New", where Brides connect with local vendors. Its such a great place to share wedding tips and experiences. Alia and  Steve are getting married this weekend at the beautiful Carondelet House in Los Angeles. We squeezed in a mini engagement session last week (that's right one week prior to their wedding :) -I'm super excited to share their sweet photos. We shot at the beautiful Claremont Metrolink with its ornate architecture and arches. This is definitely a favorite spot! Here are some of my favorites from their session...

Paulina met Mike in Vegas while she was celebrating her friends bachelorette party. She never intended on meeting anyone there, but Mike was different. He was sweet, funny, and respectful. They immediately hit it off and began their long distance relationship. Two years later Mike surprised Paulina with a romantic proposal at Lovers Beach in Cabo.

I was so excited to capture their dreamy engagement session. We had so much fun and their chemistry shows in every photo! We shot at the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum with all the lush green trees and stunning dessert landscape! This is definitely a new favorite spot! Here are some of my favorites from their session... it was so hard to narrow them down! I love them all!

This romantic engagement session was taken in Claremont, California -at a hidden gem of a wedding venue, Scripps College. Yes, its a College, that also hosts weddings! And trust me those weddings are gorg! The grounds have beautiful architecture with blankets of green ivy cascading over buildings. Totally reminds us of a secret garden. Carrie's blush gown goes perfect with the dusty hues in her bouquet. Everything is soft, romantic, and elegant. 

Carrie and Michael are getting married in New Jersey this fall. Carrie is an advocate for mental health and body acceptance. She represents a community of curved woman who stand for equal opportunity and positive body image. How awesome is that! Carrie was also diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and has to have an insulin pump attached to her body at all times. This has only made her fight harder for equal opportunities for people with chronic illnesses in the work place and in everyday life. Michael is a man of many talents too -music, acting, producing to name a few! They were so much fun while shooting! The flirting was real! Here are some of my favorites!
