Ivy + DanielLast weekend I had the honor of capturing Ivy and Daniel's romantic summer wedding at the beautiful Callaway Winery in Temecula, Ca. Ivy and her gals got ready at the gorgeous Ponte Winery, where we photographed her details and prep. Ivy chose the perfect summer color pallet with touches of pink pastels and light yellow. I was nervous with this crazy heat wave but the weather was absolutely perfect for this outdoor ceremony, The wedding was coordinated by the wonderful Michelle Garibay so Ivy and Daniel were able to relax and enjoy every bit of their fun wedding! Thank you so much Ivy and Daniel for allowing me the honor to document your big day! It was PERFECT! Sharon Han and her team did an amazing job on Ivy and her bridesmaids hair and makeup! Everyone looked gorgeous! The Sugar Divaz Bake Shoppe did a fabulous job at creating all of these delicious desserts and adorable cake! These stunning floral arrangements were made by Florist Soiree Design and Events. They added the perfect soft touch to this barrel room. I was so excited when Ivy and Daniel told me they set some time aside for romantic sunset photos! My FAVE!!! Sadly Daniel's father passed away but he was definitely still an important part of their wedding day -they even reserved him a seat in the front row. Slideshows are always so emotional! Dj C Squared did an awesome job at keeping everyone on their feet! Many thanks to my lovely second shooter Jenna and to the amazing team who made this wedding come to life...

Feels like only yesterday I had the privilege of capturing Yvonne and Tyler's beautiful Wilson Creek Winery wedding HERE! This lovely couple was everything a photographer could ask for -they cared so much about getting good photos, they were beyond incredible to work with before, during and even after the wedding! They were so proud to share photos with their friends and family!!! I wish I could shoot their wedding over and over again! Happiest of Anniversaries to you both!!! Hope you have an amazing one! Here are their 3 favorite photos from their wedding day... Brides words - "This is one my favorites because it truly exudes the passion and love we have for one another. Since the first day we met, we've always had this gravitational energy that drew us near each other wherever we were. Having him under my veil, in the place where my face was "hidden" until our first kiss as husband and wife, is symbolic of me never wanting him not near me, not even in my most vulnerable of places." "There is so much love in this photo for everyone! Having our closest friends and family and ALL of our siblings together was MAGIC! So many of them flew in from out of state and one of the country for our special day. We love them all so much!" "I love this photo of us praying because of the following scripture: “Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” (Ephesians 5:21-33) I know it's long but it sums up my pure love for him and I know he's a gift to me from God." It seemed like the weather this summer has been switching from either extremely hot or super gloomy/rainy everyother week! Jessica and Lukes wedding just so happened to land on one of those gloomy rainy weekends! It rained cats and dogs all the way up until the ceremony -giving them a little bit of time to dry off the chairs and pull off a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Their wedding was held at the Alta Vista Country Club which turned out perfect! I'm super thankful for Meghan Wiesman for bringing me along -shooting with her is always a fun time! Luke and Jessica are such a fun sweet couple -not to mention how adorable they are! Jessica is so stunning and super dainty, she reminded me of the Disney movie Thumbelina! And that's her natural hair color! Lucky! I was so honored to be apart of their special day!
Last year I was so excited to photograph my first out of town wedding in Atascadero, CA. This was such a huge accomplishment in my career. Not only was it at such a beautiful venue, but Beth and Matt were the best couple ever!!! They were so much fun and super down to earth that I felt like I was shooting an old friends wedding! They even invited my husband to come enjoy their wedding knowing that he was going to be stuck in the hotel. I cant believe it has already been a whole year since your amazing wedding! Click HERE to see more photos of their wedding at Taft Ranch in Atascadero. I want to wish them the happiest of anniversaries and share a few of their favorite moments from their wedding day! The brides words: "I have chosen 2 images that are my favorite from the day. there are so many that I LOVE and it was so hard but I chose these because I felt like they captured so much of the day. First is all of our loved ones surrounding us for the start of our new life. I absolutely ADORED the huge sycamore tree that we got married under and am so glad we could capture it like this. And it is also a memory of when I fell out while we were trying to get picture =). No wedding is perfect right?! " "The second is when we finally got to go in and see all of our family and friends as husband and wife. It was so amazing to see all of the people there to support us and wish us well in this crazy thing we call life. It was when we were through with the nerves and could just be us with those we love. Thank you again for capturing so perfectly this momentous time in our life. Hope all is well with your boys. =) Feel free to add any that you love too! I wish I could choose them all."
