Had such a nice time with Dianne, Christian, and their beautiful baby girl Danielle over the weekend. This adorable little sweetie is 6 months old and showing off all the cute things she can do during this fun milestone. I love this age because they show so much personality in their images! Of course we had to get some sweet shots of mama and daddy too :) Here are some of my faves...  

We met Blaine last year when he and his awesome team remodeled our kitchen. He was so great to work with, we highly recommend him to everyone we know! Blaine would speak highly of his beautiful family and gorgeous wife. And I can see why! They were all so welcoming and awesome during their family session. We met in Claremont at Scripps College, where we strolled through all the arched hallways and lush green areas. Crazy excited, surprised, and honored to be featured on SD Voyager Magazine!  To be honest it feels kinda funny to considered a local "artist". I always thought an artist was a human unicorn who creates something magical that no-one has ever done before. I'm definitely none of those things! I do love art and try to incorporate fine art into my photos, but really I'm just a girl with a camera trying to capture love stories as beautifully as I can! Had so much fun shooting my beautiful nieces 18 month photos this past weekend. Her mama brought some of her favorite items to keep her in one place. It totally worked! So the next time you get your toddlers photos taken, make sure you bring their favorite books, teddy, blocks, etc -it looks great when they're pastels or neutral colored too!
