It’s finally quiet, the family is all knocked out for the night. I snuck my mom’s laptop over my house so I can try to edit some photos but I did a pretty half fast job because she doesn’t have the programs that I'm used to using. I am still waiting for my computer to get fixed so this will have to do. Plus it’s hard when I’m running back and forth from the computer to my son’s room because he wasn’t comfortable or he wanted the fan on or his feet were sticking out from the blanket & he's too lazy to sit up and recover them… he used every excuse in the book to stay awake a little longer. Doggon kid. I really wanted to get some photos up because I really love posting photos and getting feedback from yall whether its good or constructive. I’m a tough cookie I can handle it, I know I have lots to improve on. Anywhoo I’m kinda jumping ahead of my timeline of photos that I want to post. I have my latina bride, children 2-5, bowling night, & kids 5-10 to post but those will have to wait because I only had these with me. I really hate to skip around but Unorganized is my middle name. The photos below are from my wedding class. The instructor invited a newlywed bride to come and pose for our class. It was a pretty crazy photo shoot, we walked all around the neighborhood looking for cool spots and the instructor was even posing her on people’s porches. He's pretty ballsy but thats what cracks me up. He has crazy energy that I wish I had. He comes up with the most awesome photos. She was a good sport and I hope you enjoy...
I felt like I was part of the paparazzi trying to squeeze in and get any shots I could get. So these are the best ones I got without my classmates elbows and other body parts in the way, like this one...
I'M JANELLE MARINA
Wife, Mama Shark, + Photographer.
Most days, you'll find me in mismatched socks and a top knot, working behind my computer with a smile on my face, listening to Zac Brown Band and R&B
--or, dancing in the kitchen with my 3 littles and hunka husband, seeing who could come up with the coolest dance moves. I'm a wedding photographer, West Elm lover, aspiring advocate for our buddies with special needs, and a Certified Dreamer since 1986. We live in a cozy city in Southern California and are always up for a good adventure. I enjoy telling stories with my camera, grubbing on spicy food, and solving the latest Dateline case.
