“Simple Man" LYNYRD SKYNYRD LYRICS Mama told me when I was young Come sit beside me, my only son And listen closely to what I say. And if you do this It will help you some sunny day. Take your time... Don't live too fast, Troubles will come and they will pass. Go find a woman and you'll find love, And don't forget son, There is someone up above. And be a simple kind of man. Be something you love and understand. Be a simple kind of man. Won't you do this for me son, If you can? Forget your lust for the rich man's gold All that you need is in your soul, And you can do this if you try. All that I want for you my son, Is to be satisfied. Boy, don't you worry. You'll find yourself. Follow you heart, and nothing else. You can do this, if you try. All that I want for you my son, is to be satisfied. - this is my fav song dedicated to my sons :) These boys are my WORLD! They give me so much joy and all I want is for them is to have a healthy, happy, simple kind of life! I know that Im about 4 ½ months late on this post lol but I just had to share these photos of my boys first photo session together! They will look familiar if you saw this post of Maxx’s bith announcement HERE . Lil Jack is 4 years old and Maxx’s was 2 weeks old here with a full head of hair!!! This photo shoot was part of #47 on my list of GOALS. Slow getting back on track with these old blog posts :) Here are some of our first photos as a family of 4 that my mom took... I thought it would be funny to throw in some bloopers because it takes alot of bad pictures to get one good moment lol... Like the one below! Look at Jack's face he's looking at me like "I cant believe your making us take this picture!" And lil Jack is just picking his nose like "Oh dont mind me!!!" and Maxx is not having it! lol Thats the story of my life! haha! crazy boy!!!

I'M JANELLE MARINA
Wife, Mama Shark, + Photographer. Most days, you'll find me in mismatched socks and a top knot, working behind my computer with a smile on my face, listening to Zac Brown Band and R&B --or, dancing in the kitchen with my 3 littles and hunka husband, seeing who could come up with the coolest dance moves. I'm a wedding photographer, West Elm lover, aspiring advocate for our buddies with special needs, and a Certified Dreamer since 1986. We live in a cozy city in Southern California and are always up for a good adventure. I enjoy telling stories with my camera, grubbing on spicy food, and solving the latest Dateline case.
